Gijsbert van Doorn held various Executive positions (CFO, CEO) in the financial services industry until early 2011 and from 2011 onwards he has completed various engagements as independent interim- and restructuring manager.
Since 2017, using his own company Winds of Change, he has been actively involved in the (co) financing and establishment of various companies and (renewable energy) projects. Next to arranging financing he also develops and realizes various renewable energy projects.

During a 25-year career in financial services at ENNIA (insurance, retail- and investment banking), AEGON (insurance), E-concern (renewable energy), KPMG (Audit) and other companies, he has held various senior management and leadership positions in general management, financial management, project management and business development.

Since 2011 he has performed various engagements as an independent interim and restructuring manager, such as:

Manager Restructuring & Recovery Germany at SNS Property Finance in The Netherlands; restructuring and disposal of the real estate backed loan portfolio in Germany;
(Interim) Managing Director (Geschäftsführer) Uberseequartier Beteiligung GmbH (commercial real estate development), Hamburg Germany on behalf of SNS Property Finance;
CEO Amicorp Insurance; AmiLife Insurance - Seychelles; Incorporation and licensing of a regulated Non-Domestic Life Insurance Company with focus on Single Premium Investment Linked products;
Part-time CFO for Spinn Inc., an online platform for artisan coffee roasters with an extension into the consumers kitchen powered by innovative technology, Los Angeles, USA;

Lead merger & acquisition and other projects, with internal and external (international) teams. Postings were in The Netherlands, UK, Taiwan, Curacao and Spain while work responsibilities involved a much broader range of countries in Europe and Asia, North and Central America and the Caribbean. Prior to his career in financial services and executive positions, Gijsbert is a Dutch Chartered Accountant (RA) by training.
